New versions of Chilkat FTP2 and Chilkat Socket were released today.
The new version number is 8.2.2 for downloads that contain all of the Chilkat components, such as .NET, C++ libs, Java, Perl, Python, and Ruby.
The new Chilkat FTP2 version is 2.3.0.
The new Chilkat Socket version is 2.1.0.
The major reason for the new release has to do with improvements in the SSL internals.
Chilkat FTP2 now supports EDI FTP servers, and this will be noted in another post.
The Chilkat Certificate Store object now has methods for loading a PFX. This allows a PFX to be used directly by Chilkat Crypt, Email, Mime, etc. without needing to import a certificate w/private key onto a system. Details will be provided in another post with examples at example-code.com
